Self Improvement Ideas: Trust Your Gut!

"Who knows what's best for you? ...You do!"

That's what Lynn Robinson says, anyway, as she offers self improvement advice that quite simply urges us to trust our own intuition.

  • I explain what intuition is briefly in the video below, or you'll find links to pages that explain 'trusting your gut' intuition in depth.
  • You'll also find some self improvement quotes that provide several interesting ideas. So let's get going, eh!...

Self Improvement Ideas

What I say...

What Lynn means with her self improvement advice that I share via the YouTube video (below), I think, is that life is probably too short to read hundreds of self help books filled with their often complicated ideas - and she should know, she's a self-confessed self-help junkie!

Instead, concentrate on a few simple ideas (distilled from these many books), put them into practice and enjoy your life! And avoid overdosing on articles on self improvement or self help books or even self improvement quotes (see below) - no matter how compelling they are:

"Do not assume that guidance flows only when you're in need of help. It continues to flow whether or not you have problems. "
-- Caroline Myss

"Your intuition is your direct pipeline to a form of intelligence that is completely beyond your conscious brain."
-- Brian Tracy

"Look within, for within is the wellspring of virtue, which will not cease flowing, if you cease not from digging."
-- Marcus Aurelius

"Some of us think holding on makes us strong, but sometimes it is letting go."
-- Herman Hesse

"It only takes one person to change your life – you."
-- Ruth Casey

And, you know what, I think I have to agree with her! Life really is too short to put learning before living. In short, then, rather than learning, learning, learning (and not living) Lynn encourages all of us to...

TRUST IN YOURSELF!

Once you learn to trust yourself, to turn to your intuition to be your main guide. And you will find, sooner or later, far less reason for you to turn to others, to other self help authors, to access the wisdom you seek!

I'd love to know if YOU agree with Lynne too - please let me know, eh! Thanks Lynn, over to you and your intuition-based ideas...
